This update fixes a memory access error that may occur during recording and monitoring. If you have version 5.60 or later, this update is strongly recommended.
GoldWave does not support VST plug-ins directly yet, but you can install a DirectX VST wrapper plug-in to use them through GoldWave's DirectX plug-in, or you can use them through the GWAmp Winamp effect hosting plug-in with the VST Winamp Bridge. With the exception of a minor update or two, this will be the last version of GoldWave for older versions of Windows (XP and below). Version 5.70 and later will require at least Windows Vista.
