DCAM FREECOMP
DCAM Free Comp is a buss compressor based on a classic British buss compressor design. It’s not your regular compressor, this is the monster with good analog characteristics.
It is a BUSS COMPRESSOR, so use it on your drum buss or the entire mix. Not that useful on single channels or tracks. It is intended to gel or glue subgroups, busses, and entire mixes together while enhancing punch and definition.
VST PLUGINS SQ8ROM SQ8ROM, from SampleScience, is a sampled version of SQ8L, a VST plugin based on the sound and synthesizer architecture of the Ensoniq SQ80. ComBear is your next goto compressor for all music production purposes, it is a parallel compressor plugin. The parallel compression means in simple words, take the original audio track (individual or group or Bus), and mix that audio track with the compressed track. The ComBear makes it very easy because of its mix knob. Just adjust this knob according to how much parallel compression you need.
The user interface is very minimal yet extremely powerful, with two big knobs for compression and mix, two sliders for input and makeup gain, visual representation, a funny bear face that changes its face as you increase or decrease the compress knob, and one on/off button for bypassing the plugin.

Molot
Molot is a free compressor VST by vladg sound, this compressor plugin is not transparent at all, it is full of character and can change to sound characteristics dramatically. Molot is generally made for Drum Busses, Group channels and sends as it is heavy on the CPU.
Molot does not claim to emulate any hardware unit but the result can be compared to some of the famous analog compressors. The user interface is hard to understand so I recommend you to read the manual to understand how the Molot compressor plugin functions.

DC1A by Klanghelm is a compressor full of characters of good old analog hardware compressor units. DC1A is a little brother of DC8C. It has some of the power settings from its Big brother DC8C and assigned them into only two simple input and output knobs make it easy to use.

Rough Rider 2
Rough Rider 2 is a vintage style modern compressor VST by Audio Damage that provides a uniquely warm sound. Perfect for adding compression effects to your drum buss but be careful as the nature of this compressor VST is very aggressive. it also great for warming the synths, basses, guitars, and vocals.
It is not a compressor to use on every audio or midi track, Rough Rider 2 is best for adding a pumping effect to rhythmic tracks. Use the mix knob to reduce its aggressiveness.

MJUC jr. is a free variable tube compressor VST by Klanghelm has some analog kind of character to it. The combination mk1 and mk2 from its big brother MJUC make the core of MJUC jr. The interstage transformer and the two gain stages make a very deep and lively processed sound.
MJUC jr. is capable of producing subtle compression to aggressive pumping compression. It has two knobs one for compress and another for makeup gain, one switcher to switch the time constant.
